In computer networks, transmission modes play an important role. Transmission Mode is nothing but the way of transferring data between two devices and it is also known as a communication mode. Buses and networks are designed to allow communication to occur between individual devices that are interconnected. There are basically 3 types of transmission modes: Simplex Mode, Half-Duplex Mode, and Full-Duplex mode. In particular, the Simplex mode is concerned with uni-directional communication where the sender can send the data but can’t receive it, Half-duplex mode is a two-way directional communication but one at a time, and the Full-Duplex mode is a two-way directional communication simultaneously. In this video, we're going to discuss each of these transmission modes in detail with the help of various real-world examples.
